We were invited to join in for the first SA Fishing Festival which was held at Gnu Valley in Muldersdrift from 11-12 November 2017. The Expo was a huge success as anglers and their families streamed to this awesome venue with loaded pockets and high expectations. Over the course of the 2 days there were hundreds of people trying out their favourite rods, reels and tackle whilst listening to fishing clinics by legends such as Neville Barnard, Gilbert Foxcroft, Louwtjie Lewies and more.

Some of the highlights were the weighing of the Mega Carp Fish which were used as a Specimen Carp Safety talk by Gilbert Foxcroft. Prologic had their stall with all kinds of crazy products and shelters and even Brands like FOX, Shimano, Carp Spirit and Specimen SA joined in the action.

Karpioene handled the tunes and also sold their shirts and caps while the 2 major SA Tournaments, SA Carp Masters and World Carp Classic South Africa also had their spots on the bank.

All in all a great event and a bright future for South African Fishing
